Montreal Grand Prix – The Festival to Kick Off Summer!

One of the greatest aspects of summertime in Canada are the many festivals that we hold, and June can be considered the unofficial kick off month for the events. One of the biggest festivals in June is the Montreal Grand Prix – a must see for anyone visiting Canada and the Montreal area!

The action-packed race(s) takes place on the 4.361 kilometre Gilles-Villeneuve Circuit and consists of 70 laps. Over the course of 3 days, in addition to the race, there are unlimited activities that tourists can partake in such as:

  • Unique dining experiences
  • Dancing at Montreal’s hottest nightclubs
  • Endless shopping at boutiques
  • Breath-taking sightseeing and museums
  • And so much more!

As stated on the Montreal Grand Prix’s website: “It’s not just about the race. It’s about a whole city coming alive with excitement! People arriving to Montreal from every part of the globe with one common objective – to get the most out of their 72 hours!”

The Montreal Grand Prix is on from June 6th, 7th, & 8th 2014. For more information on this must see world class event, please visit the official website
